For newly appointed lecturers. This course introduces University processes and structures, including academic strategy, learning and pastoral support for students, quality assurance and CPD. Preparing to Teach at the University of Sunderland (two days)
For staff who teach students but are not on a full academic contract. The course provides a short introduction to learning, teaching and student issues. Programme Leaders (one day)
For staff who have recently been appointed as Programme Leaders, or who are about to become Programme Leaders. The course provides an introduction the responsibilities of the role, and to how Programme Leaders work with the full range of services and support within the Univeristy.
