Quality assurance: Understanding module and programme approval
Monday 27 February - 13:00-15:00 - Edinburgh Building 401The purpose of this session is to provide an open opportunity to discuss the principles behind module and programme development and change. It is not to work through the processes (forms and so on) but to explore the pedagogical and developmental aspects of programme and module design. It will include discussion of external points of reference (eg NICATS level descriptors, the QAA Framework and benchmark statements), the application of these to programme and module specifications and the wider considerations in relation to the student learning experience.
