Facilities Customer Service Helpdesk and On-line CAMS

 The Helpdesk  Team have a broad knowledge base of all the services offered by Facilities and are the first point of contact if you have an enquiry.  Contact the Helpdesk on ext.3366 or email facilities.helpdesk@sunderland.ac.uk 

The opening times are:

Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 17:00

Friday 8:30- 16:30

Please note the helpdesk is closed on Bank Holidays.

The Helpdesk staff can assist you with any of the following services:

Repairs- If you find anything is broken or damaged please contact the Helpdesk where the repair will be logged with the maintenance service. 

Porter and Caretaking  Assistance- If you would like an item(s)or object moved please complete the CAMs Form by entering all of the relevant details.  The Helpdesk team will contact you to advise when the job will be completed.   For all urgent requests please contact the Helpdesk directly.

Disposal of Electrical Items- If you require electrical items to be disposed of please enter the details onto the CAMs form giving exact details of the items to be disposed of.  Please note exact quantities are required.

 Please note the CAMs form can only be accessed from within the University.

 Room Bookings - Please email your room booking requirements (giving details of dates, delegate numbers preferred location and any additional requirements such as AV) to central.bookings@sunderland.ac.uk

Car parking Enquiries - The Helpdesk can assist you with general car parking enquiries.  For parking permit exchanges please email parkingservices@sunderland.ac.uk    For appeals against car parking notices please follow the instructions printed on the back of the ticket.

Out of Hours Access Information- If you need to gain access to one of the University buildings outside of the normal opening hours please fill in an out of hours access form.  Forms can be found here   Out of Hours Access Form

Vending Faults - Vending customers should report faults with the vending machines to the location point indicated on the information panel on each machine.  The Helpdesk team  will escalate faults and repairs to the vending company.
