Welcome to Management Accounts
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Management Accounts Team include:
- managing the production of budgets, forecasts and management accounts for faculties, services and the University
- the production of the University's consolidated management accounts to a monthly timetable
- organising the production of reports for Deans and Directors on budget performance
- the production of the annual budget in conjunction with the Planning section
- in year re-forecasting of financial outturn
- training of Faculty and Service staff in budgetary management and the use of the finance system
- liaising with Deans and Directors on the financial performance of departments and take corrective action with respect to variances
- the management of the budgeting module within the Finance System.
