Welcome to Management Accounts

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Management Accounts Team include: 

  • managing the production of budgets, forecasts and management accounts for faculties, services and the University
  • the production of the University's consolidated management accounts to a monthly timetable
  • organising the production of reports for Deans and Directors on budget performance
  • the production of the annual budget in conjunction with the Planning section
  • in year re-forecasting of financial outturn
  • training of Faculty and Service staff in budgetary management and the use of the finance system
  • liaising with Deans and Directors on the financial performance of departments  and take corrective action with respect to variances
  • the management of the budgeting module within the Finance System.
