Welcome to Procurement

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Procurement Team include:

  • co-ordinating procurement activity within all Faculties and Services
  • developing, implementing and co-ordinating the University's procurement policies 
  • providing support to Faculties and Services on value for money opportunities 
  • managing the Tendering process and advise on current legislation
  • maintaining Recommended Suppliers database 
  • maintaining the hierarchy of authorisation for spending limits
  • providing training and guidance on procurement
  • issuing & managing Purchasing Cards.
