Carbon Management
Carbon Management Plan
The University of Sunderland published its second carbon management plan in January 2011, which supersedes the University's first plan that was launched in March 2006.
The new plan will help the University to achieve ambitious targets, aiming to reduce its scope one and two carbon emissions by 48% by 2020*. The University is also tackling the emissions from its scope three activities and is dedicated to reducing any emissions associated with its activities. * (Based on a 2005 baseline)
