University of Sunderland Application Form
All applications must be made using BOTH parts of the University of Sunderland Application Form provided above, unless otherwise stated.
- Part 1 of the Application Form allows you to submit details relevant to the vacancy you are applying for that will be used in the shortlisting process for that vacancy. These include your education and qualifications, work related training, professional memberships, and current and previous employment. There is also a section which allows you to detail any skills, knowledge, experience, education and training, including non-work based experience, you have or have undertaken that you consider relevant to the essential skills required by the role in question. These can be found in Part two of the role profile. CVs will only be accepted in support of your completed application form, unless otherwise stated. Where appropriate questions may be continued onto a separate sheet.
- Part 2 is the confidential part of the Application Form. This section asks for Equal Opportunities information which will not be used in the selection process and is for monitoring purposes only in order to ensure the effectiveness of our policies. The University of Sunderland wishes to ensure that all members of our University community are treated, and treat each other, with mutual respect and dignity. This section also asks for information under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. This information will only be used to assess applicants suitability for employment, in so far as it is relevant. Applicants will be considered on merit and ability and will not be discriminated against unfairly. Please note that we are unable to consider applications from applicants who have not completed the eligibility information.
The University welcomes applications submitted via email - simply download both parts of the application form and email the completed versions to email@example.com.
