CitySpace Welcome

The University's £12m flagship sport and social facility finished its three year journey from planning to completion opening in September 2009. Thousands of people have already been through its doors including students, staff, local schools, and even some VIPs. The building has been awarded various industry accolades since opening, and has also played host to major events such as the BBC North East and Yorkshire Sport Awards , International Netball , The BBC Politics Show - Election Special, and more.

Current opening times are as follows:

Monday - Friday 7am - 10pm
Saturday - Sunday 9am - 8pm

CitySpace Hall3

The spectacular fitness suite is currently welcoming new members, giving you the chance to join up to one of the regions leading facilities. Memberships to the fitness suite are limited, and it is therefore advised that anyone wishing to join up does so sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
