Portal Documents with Prices and Postage Options

Below you will find a list of all documents available to individuals that have studied at the University of Sunderland. These are available through our Awards and Verification Portal (AVP), and the price for each is listed alongside. Detailed further below are available postage options.

Please note that any digital documents available through the AVP cannot be downloaded. This is for security purposes to ensure they are not altered outside of our digitally protected system. Instead, you will give access to third parties to view them directly in the portal. Please see our FAQs and user guides for details.

If you require a copy of your document to send via email, or upload to another organisation’s website, you must purchase a hard copy that will be posted to your chosen address. You will then need to follow the guidelines of that organisation as to how you make that into a document that can be uploaded, e.g., scanned or photographed.

First Award Certificate	Hard Copy	This is a physical copy of your official certificate to confirm the award that you studied for.	£0.00	An initial physical certificate is free to all first-time graduates. You must order this through the AVP and provide a full and valid delivery address, it will not be sent to you automatically.
Replacement Award Certificate	Hard Copy	This is a replacement copy of the above. Please note this may differ from your original certificate if we have changed design and/or Vice Chancellor since you first graduated. It is still an official certificate.	£40.00	All subsequent certificates after your first are chargeable and only available in the event of loss or damage. eCertificate	Digital	Our digital certificates are still official University of Sunderland documents but have additional security measures such as being in landscape format.	£0.00	These are provided free of charge in the AVP once you have been awarded. Your digital copy will remain in the AVP at all times and will not need to be reordered.
Transcript of Results	Hard Copy	This document lists all the modules you took during your study, their academic level and the results you achieved. It also shows where you studied and when, including your award classification where applicable.	£10.00	For a short period of time after completing your studies you can download a free copy of your transcript from e:Vision where you still have access to University IT systems. Beyond that, you must order and pay for a copy via the AVP. When ordering, you must provide a full and valid delivery address.
eTranscript of Results	Digital	A digital transcript with the same details as a hard copy version.	£5.00	Your digital copy will remain in the AVP at all times and will not need to be reordered.
Verification of Award Letter	Hard Copy	A verification letter includes all the details of a transcript but includes precise start and end dates, mode of study, the language of delivery and assessment, as well as a statement confirming you studied a validated and fully recognised UK degree programme.	£10.00	When ordering, you must provide a full and valid delivery address.
eVerification of Award Letter	Digital	A digital verification letter with the same details as a hard copy version.	£5.00	Your digital copy will remain in the AVP at all times and will not need to be reordered.

Postage Options and Prices

Important: If you require your document to be sent to an overseas address outside the UK, this must be done via DHL (courier) which provides a trackable and insured service. The relevant charges will be applied to your order automatically. Please note that you must provide a full and valid delivery address, a mobile telephone number (including the relevant international dialing code), and a valid personal email address. If your delivery address is incomplete and DHL cannot deliver your document, it will be returned to the University of Sunderland and you will have to pay an additional postage charge to have it sent again.
