Freedom of Information

Welcome to the University of Sunderland's Freedom of Information website.

The Freedom of Information Act came into force at the beginning of 2005. It gives individuals or organisations the right to request information held by the University.

The University of Sunderland is committed to promoting public understanding of its nature and activities via the systematic publication of all relevant information.

It will also make every effort to provide, where practical and permissible, additional information to members of the public in cases where routinely published information does not provide them with the information they require.
