The Staff Recruitment Strategy underpins each of the strategic aims of the People Strategy, particularly developing, retaining and attracting high calibre staff at the leading edge of their field and the current priorities of right people, excellent skills, right culture and leadership to inspire and navigate change.

The aim of the Staff Recruitment Strategy is:

  • To ensure that all staff recruitment activity supports the University’s corporate plan, academic and business strategies
  • To attract high quality staff
  • To be an employer of choice
  • To use fair and effective recruitment and selection processes to meet business needs and promote inclusivity
