Becoming a Student Ambassador

Home / Post-Graduate Research Student Handbook / Student Life / Becoming a Student Ambassador

The Student Ambassador Scheme gives current students the opportunity to gain experience and develop invaluable skills which will help you enhance your CV and employability.

By representing the University through supporting and delivering recruitment and aspiration raising activities, you’ll meet new people, travel locally and nationally and earn money too.  It’s a great way to get involved with life on campus beyond lectures, and helps you make the most of your university experiences while developing and enhancing a range of skills and talking about your experience with the next generation of students.

Benefits include:

  • Paid work assignments
  • Flexible work to fit around your studies and other commitments
  • Full uniform and training provided
  • A work reference for future employers

We recruit twice a year, in the autumn and spring. To find out more, visit www.sunderland.ac.uk/ambassadors
