Students who are studying Sunderland Online programmes are required to pay for modules prior to being permitted to register for the module. You can pay for all modules or more than one up front or you can pay as you study by paying for one module at a time. If you decide to withdraw or if you are required to withdraw by the University you will be entitled to a refund for modules you have not yet commenced study for. You will not be eligible for refunds for modules that you have already completed. If you have commenced study on a module but you are to withdraw or you submit a withdrawal request within 14 calendar days of the payment deadline you will be entitled to a refund for that module. If your request is received after 14 days you will not be eligible for a refund even if you do not complete the module. Please note that you must submit a voluntary withdrawal form if you wish to be withdrawn from a module or your programme. An email or any other expression of intent to withdraw is not sufficient and you be liable for any fees incurred until the withdrawal form is received.
