Learning Engagement

Home / Managing your study / Learning Engagement

Engaging with your programme is vitally important to getting the most out of your time at the University. Failure to regularly take part in discussion boards and utilise the virtual learning environment can be an indication that you are struggling with some aspect of your programme of study or your ability to engage with your studies.

Through the virtual learning environment and your engagement with your student success coordinator we are able to regularly review your record to see if you are having any problems in engaging with your studies. It is really important therefore that you use the system and keep in regular contact with your Student Success Coordinator.

Your learning engagement will be monitored. Therefore, it is essential that if you are experiencing any difficulties you liaise with your Student Success Coordinator who can advise you on the support measures that are available.

In addition, if you fail to register on two consecutive modules and fail to respond to contact arising from this, you will be withdrawn from the programme.

If you have any queries in relation to the system or your engagement record please contact your Student Success Coordinator
